Ted McGinley is all set to star in the Hallmark Channel telefilm The Note. According to Variety, Genie Francis has also joined this original holiday-themed project.

The plot revolves around a newspaper columnist who finds a note written to an unidentified child by someone who recently died in a plane crash. The woman's editor demands that she track down the child, and write about her progress in the paper.

This is just one of thirty original films that the Hallmark Channel is planning on producing in the next year. The Note will most likely go into production before January.
