TBS has picked up The Bill Engvall Show for an eight-episode order.

The comedy stars the Blue Collar comic and Nancy Travis; The Hollywood Reporter notes Engvall plays a family counselor whose own family could maybe use a little dose of counseling. Travis plays his wife who is trying to make sure their three children turn out all right.

The Bill Engvall Show will begin airing this summer.
