TBS cancels Lopez Tonight
Lopez Tonight has been on the air for two seasons, but experienced a 40% drop in ratings once Conan O'Brien's Conan took over in the 11:00 pm time slot, pushing Lopez Tonight to midnight.
Conan is pulling in a 0.5 rating in its key demographic (18-49), and some are blaming Conan O'Brien's low ratings for Lopez Tonight's sudden demise.
TBS had no comment about the state of affairs at Conan. With its constant low ratings, the show might be cancelled next.
Stay tuned. As of now, repeats of Lopez Tonight will fill in the gap left by George Lopez's canceled series, and then repeats of The Office will take the vacated spot.

If I watch any of those late night shows, it's Jimmy Kimmel. But since LOST ended, he's not as fun to watch. He was always big on that show, and that was half the fun of it.

just found out some exciting news!! Due to Conan O'Brien's come back, the George Lopez show, "Lopez Tonight" has been cancelled, due to loss of ratings. that goes to show ya, there are other people in this world that agree, George Lopez isn't funny!! GO COCO!

Fallon and Kimmel are great (though i agree he does appear to need to lay of the energy drinks)... can't stand leno... lettermen is ok... never watched lopez at either time slot and i don't get tbs so i can't watch conan though he can be funny at times (though his humor borderlines creepy at times).

@corey No, I like Chelsea Handler but everyone's just so bad. Conan isn't funny, Jimmy Kimmel isn't funny, Jimmy Fallon is super hyper, Letterman's okay, never really watched Leno though. Their just too many of them for not enough humor.

@ROFLitschristian Late Night is hysterical dude. Where is your sense humor? Only TBS fails at doing it. Lopez Tonight kind of sucks, but I'd hate to Conan leave TV AGAIN!

It would have been a good idea if they would had let him keep the talk show if he promised not to make any more movies. Or at least movies in where he only provides his voice.lol
