Taylor Lautner's Abduction has created a bidding war
The site reports that the script just hit the market last night and two studios are interested in the project, which will go to a bidding auction this morning. The film centers around Lautner's character, a teen who figures out why he's so disillusioned with his parents, which sets off a violent chain of events.
Lautner has recently signed on for the lead roles in Stretch Armstrong, Max Steel and Northern Lights, which will be directed by John Moore.
Stretch Armstrong comes to theaters April 11th, 2014. The film is directed by Rob Letterman.
Max Steel was released in 2011.
Northern Lights comes to theaters in 2012. The film is directed by John Moore.

Illuminati
this kid has a shelf of 5 hollywood minutes.
do you realize the young adult category is the HARDEST demographic to survive in Hollywood. It's a transitional catergory, and only a handful have made that jump. DE CAPRIO, BALE, DEPP are the only alisters to do it, the rest end up on TV or supporting roles.
Mcully Culkin (spelling?) couldn't last, Haley Joel Osmet couldn't survive. Even the recent rich boy Frankie Muniz couldn't stay in the loop. I know they are all working (especially frankie who is making bank), but the studios wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.
If all those kids, who had decent acting chops, couldn't make it this prissy maniquin doesn't have a chance.

Out of all the movies he's lined up to be in, Abduction sounds the most interesting. (He's stepped out of Max Steel, that would have been the most interesting...)
I disagree with you Illuminati. I think he is a good lead. I think that Twilight just rubs some people the wrong way and it affects how people perceive the actors. Give him a chance to be a lead and we'll see. To be honest, I'm more interested in Lautner's future than Pattinson's.
