Taylor Lautner
In the film Twilight, Jacob had a smaller part but it gets beefed up significantly in New Moon.
Jacob starts a romantic relationship with the film's lead actress Bella (Kristen Stewart) in the sequel.
Originally, it was thought that Lautner might not look the role of the older and bigger Black. Lautner is said to be transforming himself for the part.
"The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series," Weitz stated in a blog on New Moon author Stephenie Meyer's blog. "But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob."
The Twilight Saga: New Moon was released November 20th, 2009 and stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Anna Kendrick, Christian Serratos, Michael Welch. The film is directed by Chris Weitz.

why recast rosalie? i think shes perfect for the role, shes got the look that makes her seem slightly threatening, and shes kinda pretty. shes not supposed to be amazing. so why recast her orionbolt?

The image above is actor Steven Strait, from the movie Sky High. Steven was rumored to be replacing Taylor for the role Jacob. But that was false. Not sure why movieweb posted the picture. Although the two actors do look alike. FYI. :)

Yeah I'm not a Twilight fan at all. But I agree with them keeping Sharkboy. I just wish that they would recast Rosalie.
