Tatum O'Neal is set to star in the period drama Saving Grace. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Penelope Ann Miller, Joel Gretsch, Piper Laurie and Michael Biehn have also joined the Connie Stevens directed film.

Stevens also wrote the screenplay, which revolves around a Missouri couple in the 1950s whose life is thrown into chaos when the wife's sister is released from a mental institute and comes to live with them. Miller and Biehn will play the married couple, while O'Neal will play the sister.

The film is currently being shot on location in Boonville, Missouri.
