Milwaukee, Minnesota: According to Variety, Tartan Films USA has picked up North American rights to Allan Mindel's debut feature, Milwaukee, Minnesota.

The pic stars Randy Quaid, Bruce Dern and Troy Garity in the story of a young, possibly mentally disabled man who must fend for himself when he's targeted by con artists after his mother's death.

Tartan will roll out the film in May. The banner's British arm is additionally releasing the movie Friday in the U.K.
