Tamala Jones has climbed on board the Paramount comedy Up in the Air from writer-director Jason Reitman, according to Variety.

The film stars George Clooney, Jason Bateman, Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick.

George Clooney will play an unapologetic corporate downsizer whose untethered life is consumed by collecting air miles.

Filming is under way in St. Louis.

Up in the Air was released December 23rd, 2009 and stars George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick, Jason Bateman, Amy Morton, Melanie Lynskey, J.K. Simmons, Sam Elliott. The film is directed by Jason Reitman.
