Maggie Grace will return for Taken 2
We reported last month that Liam Neeson will return as Bryan Mills in the sequel as well. The story line of the Untitled Taken Sequel isn't quite clear yet. However, with Maggie Grace returning, it is possible that she is kidnapped once again, with Liam Neeson trying to get her back.
Transporter 3 director Olivier Megaton will direct the Untitled Taken Sequel from a script by the original Taken writers Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.
No production schedule was released for the Untitled Taken Sequel yet, although our report from March indicated production could start in late 2011 or early 2012.
Taken was released in January 2009 and took in a whopping $226 million worldwide, from a production budget of just $25 million.
Taken 2 comes to theaters October 5th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace. The film is directed by Olivier Megaton.

hmm mayb the big, big russians bosses will want payback for Liam killing the big russian at the end of the film and will hold/kill this whole family (maggie and the ex wife)
but hey if its half as good as the first am in :D but man 2013 is a long time (thats not to say we make it pass 2012 Dec) LOL

i really hope in the years following the first taken the girl's character gets a record deal and becomes a big pop sensation. but, on the evening of her first major performance russian terrorists take over the venue and its up to liam neeson and his new partner (if we are really lucky jean claude van dam) to save the day. written and directed by dolph lundgren

Lame. But maybe it'll justify my hatred for the ending of the first one...if she gets taken again, I'll be right that it was a stupid idea to give her singing lessons, apparently throwing her back into the spotlight.

I personally think it's just going to be based on Neeson's character from the first film, like he is assigned to go on some sort of mission. There could be the someone was kidnapped storyline again but it's hard to tell at this point.

I love MAggie Grace but this is a movie that does NOT need to be made. I hate when actors/directors/studios cash in on their hits. I dont know, i said it before but i will say it again. Just as Bruce Willis' character uttered in Die Hard 2; Die Harder (terrible sub title): "How can the same thing happen to the same guy twice?"
Well, Poor John McClaine...it just keeps happening and happening. Who knows...maybe those albanians just really wanted her character to do some dirty deeds.....done for cheap.
