@slysnide -- Or Mass Effect 3, quite possibly "Gears Of War 3" - only if you've played the first-two, though.

A sequel's so unnecessary. The first one wasn't even that good! Maybe that's because we watched it 4 times in school when it was released...

Man, I just realized that apart from a free ticket, I also got a gift card for both the theater and best buy. What to save for? Hmm. Oh yeah, "Arkham Asylum" comes out on Tuesday.

@slysnide -- Really? I really like the concept of "Limitless", and I'm attracted to the cast and its' vibe. Well, like I said, I'll see both just for the heck of rating/having my say on both. But thanks for your input, too!

    @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx I gave both films 4 stars

@slysnide -- Ha, I heard a lot of mixed reviews for "Limitless", mainly positive feedback if you round it up to the majority. I don't know much about "Rio", other than it's an animation that involves birds, lol. Here's a copy and paste from IMDb -- "When Blu, a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, meets the fiercely independent Jewel, he takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro with this bird of his dreams. " Short and sweet, if you ask me.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx: Check that, I actually gave it 2.5, but advised you'd need a buddy to stave through it. As for those other two you mentioned, I've not seen either, but heard that "Limitless" wasn't that great, and that it further demeaned DeNiro and Cooper was only given that role to help his career branch out to show he could perform well in various genres. "Rio," the title itself sounds better despite I've no idea what the film is. Remind me again.

@slysnide -- Really? I had no clue it would be that bad. Anyway, what did you and @bawnian-dexeus think of Rio and Limitless? I may see both those films tonight.

@slysnide That movie didn't make sense to me. It was all over the place and quite boring

    8 months agoby @bawnian-dexeusFlag

  22. slysnide

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx: I suppose that makes sense, as the action film "The International" was just terrible with its similar story logic and nearly equally ridiculous execution of events, yet "taken" was better than that. Though as I recall, I only gave "The International" a single star, or less.

  23. XxNickTheFilmCriticXx

@slysnide -- Well, think about it. Nowadays, most action flicks suck, or they are actually decent, if not great. While I understand you may have not liked it, I think you'll come up with a rating a little above-average if you keep an open-mind and base it on everything(the film has to offer).

    8 months agoby @XxNickTheFilmCriticXxFlag

  24. slysnide

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx: If I thought it was above average, I'd have given it a better rating, but I get your point.

    8 months agoby @slysnideFlag

  25. XxNickTheFilmCriticXx

@slysnide -- Hm, I guess that's reasonable, but while I cannot change your opinion, I think we can both agree when I say that "Taken" is above-average, especially when it comes to action films?

  26. XxNickTheFilmCriticXx

    8 months agoby @bawnian-dexeusFlag

  28. slysnide

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx: Okay I'll give you that, it kept a pace, but it was totally not believable that Neeson could do all that considering he never really showcased the intelligence side of his CIA roots. So I'd give it 5/10.

    8 months agoby @slysnideFlag

  29. XxNickTheFilmCriticXx

@bawnian-dexeus -- Nah, I think that would've been taking the death to heart-too much. I'm not surprised at all, a lot of films, may I say "action films" do stuff like this. It's extremely difficult to find an action movie that is nearly as good as The Bourne trilogy.
