Take a Look at the New Street Kings Trailer

David Ayer's (Harsh Times) new movie Street Kings doesn't hit the theaters until April 11, but you can take a little peek at it now. Yahoo! Movies has posted this new trailer for Street Kings, and you can take a look at it below. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Forrest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans and Common. Watch the trailer below:


In Street Kings, a police thriller directed by David Ayer, Keanu Reeves plays Tom Ludlow, a veteran LAPD Vice Detective. Ludlow sets out on a quest to discover the killers of his former partner, Detective Terrance Washington (Terry Crews). Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker plays Captain Wander, Ludlow's supervisor, whose duties include keeping him within the confines of the law and out of the clutches of Internal Affairs Captain Biggs (Hugh Laurie). Ludlow teams up with a young Robbery Homicide Detective (Chris Evans) to track Washington's killers through the diverse communities of Los Angeles. Their determination pays off when the two Detectives track down Washington's murderers and confront them in an attempt to bring them to justice.

Street Kings was released April 11th, 2008 and stars Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans, Cedric the Entertainer, Jay Mohr, Terry Crews, Naomie Harris. The film is directed by David Ayer.

    I really liked the first one, thought the cinematography was great. Big overseas hit...hope they do they second one justice.

    i dont know if its a copy of training day, its just hard to forget such a great dirty cop movie, but this in its own right looks like a good one or at least a good hour and a-half of guns,bullets,and explosions im there, i mean c'mon WAR wasnt great but its action made up for it so i'll go watch it

    Makes a lot more sense to call this Street Kings, besides the original title bearing some resemblance to the Watchmen adaptation.

    I wouldn't be too scared of Keanu as a cop, though. :)
