I like how it ended to, it was a good way for it to go, finally going home after so long and all the sh*t he had been put through, but when he said he was gonna do another Rambo i just got really excited. kinda like expecting something for Christmas and not getting it lol.
mom jokes huh? didn't know we were back in the 3rd grade lol

thank you remy for not being a douche like vanboy, i wasn't insulting u two, i was just saying that i think the franchise should be left alone. oh and by that way i came back from ur mom's bed u stupid twat. i guess i'll go back but it was kinda rank. now i'm insult u, or more so ur mom.
and i suppose i see ur point but i still think that if it ended on a good note there is no need to continue, plus it had closure

1. i get what your saying however look at it from this point of view, yes Stallone said it was the last so we accepted it, but when he came along and said one more, after seeing what he did with the self Titled "Rambo" movie and how he directed it, how could you not get excited about it and not want another one.
And 2.
We are not the reason why Horrible movies such as Jason X and Halloween get made. That's just dumb. Seriously if you have a great or even a good character with a great or even good story with a director who knows what the hell he is doing, it is more than possible to make sequel after sequel and not hurt the franchise. If you get a dumb script and a director who is just in it for the money and not the story and character developments then you get bad films. The way your thinking is coming across to me is its like your opinion is a television show should just run one season and that's it. The reason why they keep going is cause people want more if the quality of the product is still their. Its basic supply and demand. I mean its like saying we didn't need any more Batman films. It just goes to show if you have a good story to tell and a good eye than why not show it. Horrible films such as Jason X and so on are not and cant be blamed on the fans of the characters and films. But the one's who make it and dont meet the expectation of the people. It is someone's lack of vision of staying true to the character and formula of the film. When someone comes along and wants to upgrade it where their is no need then you have problems such as Jason X. Hopefully this cleared it up

BD, why don't you go "Back" to wherever is "wus" you came from, you half assed texting imp. Nobody said anything about wanting more Rockys or (weak reach) Saving Private Ryan movies. If you can read into what we were saying bonehead, you would understand that we accepted the end of the Rambo franchise as it was...BUT, but when Stallone said that there was going to be another one, we got pumped up for it and now feel let down. Do you get it, or do you want me to draw you a diagram?
Oh and by the way, I haven't even seen those abomination Halloween movie remakes and never will. There are only two Halloween movies in my library; Halloween and Halloween II. PERIOD! And Jason X sucked ass!

guys like u r the reason movies like Jason X gets made or a reboot of the Halloween franchise or another Pirates movies is getting made. just let a franchise end. i mean Stallone said Rambo was that last, and him saying that seemed to be good enough for u to let it be, then he said there would be another and apparently that was good enough to get u hyped, so by ur logic him saying there won't be another should be good enough for u now to let it rest again right?
and either say i think that the Expendables is a cool idea and should be carried on in sequels, it could be a new character to get invested in. and besides i mean rambo ended a good note with a sound logical ending and the character coming full circle, wut more do u want. it doesn't even make say. u probably want more Rocky's and a sequel to Saving Private Ryan.

well VanBoy how bout it be his long lost daughter, in the special feature dvd's you see Rambo getting it on with a chick, she shows up things go good, she goes to town for supplies and gets snatch and that's that, or the cashier story either way i think it would be cool, and nuts to see him tear apart Mexico a little bit, one of the big reasons i love these films besides the great stories and action is the real world conflict he uses so this way it has some realism to it. and i do agree with you on another subject Vanboy. THEY TALKED ABOUT ANOTHER ONE NOW WE WANT IT DELIVERED. the action genre is kinda falling to sh*t and we need this film.

No Remy. No Rambo dying. That suck ass. The beginning of the plot you described though sounds ok. I would opt for him just going into Mexico and spaying that 50 cal. he used in the last one, on all of the smugglers and drug lords. End their f*cking little puta war all at once. Then a couple of Mexican honeys show Rambo their appreciation. End of story.

Ok, the last Rambo ended the franchise well, true. I was ok with the last one being, "the last one". But, when they started talking about another one, I was getting pumped and was really starting to want it. My acceptance of the last of being the last one had vanished. Now what the Hell are we left with?!
Yeah The Expendables will be great, but Stallone's not the guy we've come to cheer for in Expendables, that he is in Rambo. They said that we were going to have another Rambo, now Stallone BETTER give us one damnit!!!!!
Hollywood suck so much. They are going to put out some forgettable, sh*tty movie about some washed up ghansta, evil punk, rap group and not do Rambo, who kills evil doers. Is this f*cking ass backwards or what?! Yeah, let's all celebrate evil people. Why not do a movie about Stevie Wonder instead? That would be a great movie. Not that other sh*t.
F*ck it!

i agree with alot of the posts, that the rambo film ended on a good note, i thought it was an acceptable apology for rambo III, and yes it was a massacre at the end, but i really felt sly did a great job at bringing rambo back to form, and would prefer it to be closed out.

I just want another Rambo flick the human trafficker story sounded good. Like check this.
Ok he is living on the farm and so on, from time to time he goes to time, think of it as something small kinda in walking tall but smaller not up to date alot, their is this chick who works at the little supply store he goes to, and over a few months he doesn't become sweet on her or anything just like her as a person. but their are some bad elements passing through town all the time. one night she gets snatch up and that's it he goes after her, into Mexico and so on. i think it could work. And as much as i don't want to say this. Have the Rambo character die. As much as we all want him to have closure and live in peace. We all know he is a man of war and sooner or later it happens. Or have him do the classic save the day and show the girl nursing him back to health at the end of the film. Have her asks the right question on how he knew how to do all that stuff. and when he starts the story the films ends because we already know.

NO SAVAGE HUNT- This seems like a toss up, on one end another Rambo sounds great but it also seems that Rambo is complete now and another might ruin the great collection that those movies are. The super soldier idea seemed un-Rambo and more fitting to that of The Expendables. If The Expendables is a great film then I think a sequel will be great but if not, there's other great projects Sylvester Stallone could pursue... "This is who we are, this is what we do..."

I love the Rambo movies but the last one gave it some closure. As for Van Damme and Seagal I've thought that from the beginning, but I for got about Snipes.
