S.W.A.T. takes the weekend Box Office!

S.W.A.T. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new film adaptation of the 70's TV Show, S.W.A.T., has taken the lead at the Box Office this weekend:

Sony's Samuel L. Jackson-Colin Farrell starrer "S.W.A.T.," adapted from the 1970s TV cop show, slapped the cuffs on enough moviegoers to debut as the weekend's top movie with an estimated $37 million. Buena Vista's remake of its 1970s comedy "Freaky Friday" opened in second place with an estimated $22.3 million.


S.W.A.T. was released August 8th, 2003 and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell, Michelle Rodriguez, LL Cool J, Josh Charles, Jeremy Renner, Brian Van Holt, Olivier Martinez. The film is directed by Clark Johnson.
