Those who enjoy and make the hit CW Network series Supernatural are in mourning tonight as executive producer and director Kim Manners passed away on Sunday night in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer. Warner Bros. Television released a brief statement from Supernatural creator and executive producer, Eric Kripke.
Everyone at Supernatural is walking around in a daze, shocked and absolutely devastated. Kim was a brilliant director; more than that, he was a mentor and friend. He was one of the patriarchs of the family, and we miss him desperately. He gave so much to Supernatural, and everything we do on the show, now and forever, is in memory of him.
Manners directed the most episodes out of any director on Supernatural, which includes every season finale. Manners previously worked as a producer and director on The X-Files.

Not that he will not be missed, but he was one of seventeen producers so I do not see the series changing a lot if any.

Even though I hope the show doesn't suffer creatively because of his passing away, I'm more saddened by his passing away and send friends, family, and his Supernatural family condolensces and love at this hard time. We will miss you, Kim!! RIP

I hope this doesn't effect my enjoyment of this show. Hopefully, he wasn't all that important that now the shows will be bad, because he's gone.
