Henry Cavill discusses his research into playing Zack Snyder's Superman
"I'm just picking out as much as I possibly can from the comic book history because obviously it's plastered across there as to who this man is and whatever part of his life you're playing; whatever part of his ultimate journey you're playing, you just need to put in either the building aspects, the building blocks to how he ends up, all those key characteristics that are carried through and so it's just picking up a general idea of what he is and then working from there."
The new actor also talked about the 10-year age difference between himself and the new Lois Lane, Amy Adams.
"To be honest, that's a question for the director. But, (it's) happenstance. I don't think it matters at all."

Did anyone actually read the above interview, or see the clip? Cavill, while sincere (I'm sure), sounds like he doesn't really know what he's trying to say. I mean, f*ck, his above response is less discernible than half of my essays from the sixth grade. He just sounds like he's saying what people want him to say, and while I'm sure he'll do a good job as Supes, I just don't buy his enthusiasm towards one of the biggest roles of a life time.

I am glad to see that he is throwing himself in to this character. As many others have said there is so much more to supes than just the "blue boy scout" so this is great news to me.
