Super Dave Puts His Life Back on the Line November 14
Super Dave is supposedly an "accomplished" stuntman, though he rarely succeeds when performing the stunts depicted onscreen. His signature is to perform outrageous daredevil stunts which invariably go awry and often results in grievous bodily injury.
Einstein's Super Dave series originally ran on Showtime from 1980-1985. He spun off the character into the animated series Super Dave: Daredevil for Hire,Super Dave's Vegas Spectacular, and his own feature film The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave. In addition to ongoing appearances as Super Dave on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Einstein's television credits including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, and Crank Yankers. Einstein will be writing the new episodes and Lee Kernis of Brillstein Entertainment Partners serves as executive producer with Einstein and Alan Blythe, the producer of the original Showtime series.
Bill McGoldrick, senior vice president of development, Spike TV, serves as executive in charge of production. Spike TV is available in 97.7 million homes and is a division of MTV Networks.
