    Wow there are 5 movies that had superbowl commercials this time, and that's the most movies that had superbowl commercials, that i was ever planning on seeing the movie theaters. They include Captain America, Transformers 3, Thor, Pirates 4, Cowboys and Aliens.

    Yep, Supes pretty much got that right. Just look at "Drive Angry" rounding out the month. :P

    @Block That is generally how it goes. That's why a lot of us refer to January and February as the dumping grounds. Rarely does blockbuster-esque hit get released during that time (save Passion of the Christ (February 25th), but that was helped with the controversy surrounding it).

    You know, when I thought about it, march is always the beginning of really good movies. To me, I think that spring movies is awesome, summer is kick-a**, and the beginning of winter (December) is award nominated.

    @Moviegeek Just January and February, typically. March is the real beginning of the movie year. For me at least.

    BTW, I'm also glad Spielberg got to produce the series Terra Nova. I mean, C'mon, traveling back 85 million years, with dinosaurs? its totally gonna rock :D

    What I liked about TF3 was the part where the black SUVs and i'm assuming Ironhide in there as well crash into each other, receive damage and transform in mid air while spiraling. It took me back to TF1 when ironhide cartwheeled after blasting the ground

    Lol @D. Well, they came in waves, so it's fine that Alan wanted to post them as fast as possible. Gallagher got them and condensed them. Lol.

    @HighCaliber, agreed.

    For me, my personal favorites were Cap and Transformers. I don't know how I misse a lot of these, like The Adjustment Bureau, and Kung Fu Panda 2, both very interesting looking movies. I'm still not overly excited for Thor, but oh well. All in all, it was a great game, and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

    Oh and the halftime show was pretty bad.

    So after Alan floods the site with each spot, we get one article showcasing all of them? :P

    @Geek & @Narrator -I think a lot of people enjoyed the Transformers teaser...I know I did. Most of the teasers were pretty good, I definitely thought Transformers and Super8 did the best job "teasing" with their respective ads.

    Lol @Geek. Glad to see someone enjoyed the Transformers teaser other than me. Let's hope they stick to that tone throughout the film, and don't pull a Revenge of the Fallen on us (bad-ass/serious teaser, "humorous"-corny movie).

    As for the Cap trailer, they need a little bit of humor in the film. Cap's just getting into this role of being a bad ass, because let's face it - he was far from it prior to his transformation. Johnson said he wanted to show Rogers transformation into being Cap throughout the film, not just physically but mentally. I think it was pretty good.

    By far I think the best teaser was Super 8's. I knew Abrams was doing this as a direct homage to Spielberg, I'm just surprised by how well he seemingly nailed it.

    I thought the halftime show was actually pretty decent. They were having technical problems and Usher should have stayed home to babysit Beiber, but the Peas were fun to watch. I think Transformers was the coolest trailer of them all. Captain America was good, but it ended on a corny note just like Green Lantern's trailer. Sigh.

    Yeah, the half time show sucked, and Aguilera botched the National Anthem lol, but nobody can deny that the commercials were fun, and the actual game was a good back and forth match. I had fun :)
