Its obviously Alien though. Just that part alone(cars flying up) gives it away. I may be wrong, but I doubt it. ;)

The water tower is a very big part of it. Just watching the trailer, it shows up at least 4 or 5 times. You can see it again at the end before the kid says What The Hell when the cars are getting pulled up. Thats obviously where this " Thing" is hiding out. Have to say though, regardless of how cool this movie looks, I still worry. I'm up and down with Spielberg. Have no doubts with Abrams, but Spielberg, I don't know man. I just wish he would not do something Alien related. I feel thats all he knows. Hey Steve, what do you wanna do with Indiana Jones? Uhhhh ALIENS!!!

I'm almost positive the water tower is significant. For one, the light is brightest around the tower, and also in the trailer when the little chunk of metal flies through the wall, you can see a water tower through the hole.

@masta-cheifield This movie is about a monster/alien wreaking havoc on a town or whatever. I was just saying it would be cool to see a poster of what kind of damage this thing could do. Ex; The decapitated head of the statue of liberty in the Cloverfield poster. And the only reason I compared the posters is because they are both Abrams films and are both secretive on what the mosnter/alien is. Sheesh calm down.
