A serious injury has caused shockwaves throughout the latest Harry Potter film. Daily Mirror is reporting that Daniel Radcliffe's stunt double for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was seriously injured after a stunt rehearsal at Leavesden Studios near Watford, England.

The 25-year-old stuntman was rehearsing a flying stunt on a harness when he was sent through the air after an explosion, a planned part of the stunt. It was thought that perhaps the stuntman, who was not named, might have caught part of that blast. While he was conscious after hitting the ground, he said, "I can't feel my legs."

"He told crew members who went to help him he couldn't feel anything from the waist down," a source said. "Everyone is just hoping he makes a good recovery. It has come as a terrible shock."

While a spokesperson for the studio confirmed that a member of the production was injured, they wouldn't reveal further details.

"Out of respect for the family we are unable to comment further."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is currently scheduled for release on November 10, 2010.
