In the world of DVD it's never to soon to start thinking about the future, thus the studios are bringing out some next generation DVD gems for 2007.

In a story from The Digital Bits, on January 23 Fox is going to release the following Blu-ray titles:

Alien vs. Predator, Commando, Courage Under Fire and Men of Honor.

On February 13 Fox will bring out Planet of the Apes, Broken Arrow, Entrapment, The Sentinel, Phone Booth and Chain Reaction in the Blu-ray format.

Also on February 13, MGM (via Fox) will be bringing out the following Blu-ray titles: The Princess Bride and The Usual Suspects.

Paramount will be release Black Rain on HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc on January 23. On that same day they will bringing out We Were Soldiers and The Manchurian Candidate on Blu-ray Disc.

On February 6, the studio plans to release Failure to Launch on both HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc.

Commando was released October 4th, 1984 and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rae Dawn Chong, Dan Hedaya, Vernon Wells, James Olson, David Patrick Kelly, Alyssa Milano, Bill Duke. The film is directed by Mark L. Lester.
