Stone Village has acquired the spec thriller The Field, by writers Sean Wathen and Josh Dobkin.

According to Variety, the story is set in an endless field, where a group of strangers wake up with seemingly random items and must find a way out.

Though Wathen and Dobkin are new to the world of bigscreen specs, they both have day jobs in TV. Dobkin is the art department coordinator for ABC's Scrubs, and Wathen is production secretary for Fox's House.
