@thedude1, Same here. I don't get it either. Everybody loves Cage but their too worried what the Cage bashing crowd will think. I would love it too if he was in Expendables 3! They need to get Carl Weathers too!

@thedude1 when I watched part 2 of NT I wasn't in the right mood for it. GR2 was better and I did notice Chris but didn't recognize him until the end of the film.
I don't hate Cage, I just think he needs to be in a different type of film and not a character that goes after villains or people.

My favorite Nicholas Cage movie has to be Vampire's Kiss. All out over the top insanity to the end. Sad ending though. I had to add regarding my last post, that the only thing that would make this more cheesy like a lame 1990s movie, is if they played the "Aliens build-up, escaping from the atmosphere processor explosion music" during the climactic scenes in this trailer like several movies did back then.

@2movieguys Same here. I don't understand the hate for him. The same haters on here who bash him every chance they get were days ago praising the rumors that he is going to be in The Expendables 3.

@zender I couldn't disagree more. National Treasure 2 was very good. Not as good as the first movie but then again not many sequels are as good as the first movie. Ghost Rider 2 is one of those sequels that are better(if you can call it a sequel). It was more over the top and gritty which is what Ghost Rider needed to be. And plus Christopher Lambert was in it.

Damn @ChiRep_1, I was going to comment, "Sniff, Sniff. This smells like reheated plate of Gone in Sixty Seconds leftovers". Actually, Taken meets Gone in Sixty Seconds. @newtron, I totally agree. Very cheesy! The voice overs should have died with the voice over guy and VHS. "In a world where cool movies don't use voice-overs anymore because they're now lame, this movie defies them all! Stolen". The next movie for Cage will be about Coyotes tracking him along with a bunch of forest fire fighters. The movie to be called "The Prey".

Ghost Rider 2 was laughable.
He needs to be in Independent films rather than being in the things he's bringing out.
Cage is a guilty pleasure for me, the second National Treasure was really bad.

Seems like cage is always making movies where hes searching for someone or something.
like ..Honeymoon in vegas, The Rock, Gone n 60sec, National Treasure, The Wicker Man, Next, Knowing, Ghost Rider, Season of the Witch , Drive Angry,
He needs to start making other type films where hes being hunted rather than him being the hunted. ok i said that wrong, n/m. lol

After watching that elevator fighting scene at 56sec. i am convince that cage is a horrible actor, he's no bruce willis, But even tho, he doesnt seem to put out great films, i still watch em and sumhow i come to love em. But again..this guy needs to start cooking something cause i miss his con air stuff.

Good old Cage at it again! Does anybody else wish they would come out with a Face off 2 movie? I can watch that movie over and over. Anytime m flipping throu the cable channels and I come across hat movie I can't help but to stop and watch it! That's vintage Cage and John at the very best can't get any better!
