Steven Spielberg and Clint Eastwood to Make Supernatural Thriller
Rumor has it that the film will be something like The Sixth Sense.
The film was written by Peter Morgan in March when DreamWorks was still married to Paramount Pictures. DreamWorks got the project when the two entities separated.

Err
yeah, jaws and close encounters were spielbergs best movies, everything else he did was watchable but not that awesome in my humble opinion.
i can't even think of one eastwood movie that i loved.
there were some enjoyable ones like the dirty harry sh*t for instance, but nothing that blew me away and not one that made it into my dvd collection.

Your right i can't name a handful. But that's because Eastwood figured out that after doing that crappy movie Absolute power that he wouldn't have success in a 100% acting role. He's mostly 90% directing and 10% acting now. And personally I don't like Steven Spielberg movie except Jaws.

PypeBomb Pictures
Clint has one of the most successful track records in the industry, and Spielberg (although bumble-f*cked films like KOTCS and War of The Worlds)still has the most successful offerings of films in the history of motion pictures.
Over hyped it will be ???...yes
Worthy of praise???...probably
Epic and timeless like Unforgiven, Jaws, Saving Private Ryan and Dirty Harry???...we'll have to wait and see.
...but I'll be there on opening day.

Oh, and I am not a huge fan of horror movies, because they are never scary. As soon as its done, you forget about them.

This is a great combo to make a thriller. Two amazing directors, I can't wait to see what they come up with.

take it easy fallen. just stating my opinion. And by the way i bet when the scream franchise was still fresh you had billions of scream posters. So don't even try it, sucka. And another thing when have you saw a great horror movie come from some f*ckin dreamworks company. This movie will suck.

The Narrator: The Better Man
Killerman, take that back. Neither of them suck. A guy with a scream avatar, (which was a terrible movie) sucks.
This is an "different" choice, but hope it succeeds.

Err
i gotta side with killerman here... sort of.
there will be way too much hype over this when it gets moving, and neither of these guys have made a movie that i personally have loved, in years.
off hand im not that excited, but who knows, maybe it will turn out alright. i guess i lost faith in speilberg after my complete and total absense of enjoyment of war of the worlds. eastwood, on the other hand, really hasnt made any movies that i have loved.

Clint isnt too old for anything. I wish he would make one last western though, though spielberg & eastwood, cant go wrong there. and killerman, you shouldn't smoke crack and post comments at the same time, weird sh*t comes out like down there

Eastwood is too old for thrillers. And something being like the sixth sense is a bad idea, especially if steven spielberg is directing. It's so much hype around these two guys and they suck. I don't get it.
