Steven Seagal Heading to Reality TV with Steven Seagal: Lawman
Seagal has been a fully commissioned deputy for the Jefferson Parish County Sherrif's Office for the past 20 years, on a part-time basis. Seagal assisted the relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This series will follow his life on and off the beat, including his musical projects and charitable efforts in and around New Orleans.
"I decided to work with A&E on this series now because I believe it's important to show the nation all the positive work being accomplished here in Louisiana," Seagal said of the new venture.
It isn't clear when the project is set to air on the network.

Shelley, all i can think of is Out for justice. What else was this guy successful in. Please don't say On Deadly Ground.

I think Seagal had some success in the late 80's and early 90's. He just made so many unnecessary and un-watchable movies later in his career. But I have to say I do prefer Jean-Claude.

at least Jean Claude had a point of success. Seagal never did.

Err, don't think you are alone, I own several of Stephen's and Jean-Claude's movies. I also agree that this does not sound very entertaining at all.

The only positive that comes outta this is
A: I don't watch anything reality on A&E, and
B: This will hopefully keep him from making more straight to DVD movies. Between him and Jean Claude Van Damme i'm not sure who's got more of those.

Err
this doesn't sound very entertaining, and i say that as the only person i know who actually has steven seagal movies in his collection. bad though they may have been, they were still fun to watch. especially the one with william forsythe as the crack-puffing bad guy on a killing spree.
never the less, docudramas about people who have it worse than i do are not on the top of my list of sh*t to watch. i have my own problems to deal with, even if they do pale in comparison to the problems of people in and around new orleans.

Well at least he is not going to have to act. I wonder if he will take that long leather coat off and show the world exactly how much weight he has gained.

He wants to show the nation all the positive work-bullsh*t. He must be nearing bankruptcy. If i was an officer for Jefferson Parish, i would ask for an transfer even knowing that he's connected to the town.
