In a story from Variety, Steve Buscemi and Stanley Tucci recently inked a TV deal with Lionsgate.

Buscemi and Tucci will be operating under their production company Olive Productions. The plan is for them to produce scripted programming for broadcast and cable television.

"Steve and Stanley are brilliant actors and, along with Wren Arthur, talented filmmakers whose careers reflect the same creative sensibility that defines and drives Lionsgate TV," stated Lionsgate TV's Kevin Beggs.

Buscemi recently directed some episodes of the new Edie Falco show Nurse Jackie for Lionsgate. The show will air on Showtime.

Stanley Tucci has acted in the television biopic Winchell and in the cable show Monk.
