Steve Austin and Charisma Carpenter Set for The Expendables

WWE alum "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Charisma Carpenter have been added to the cast of The Expendables, starring, written and directed by Sylvester Stallone.

Carpenter will be portraying Jason Statham's character's girlfriend in the film.

Also recently added to the cast were Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham and a brief cameo by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Expendables is said to go into production shortly and will be aiming for a 2010 release date.

The Expendables was released August 13th, 2010 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas. The film is directed by Sylvester Stallone.

    Joekerr2e, Sandra Bullock WAS going to be in this movie, or at least they were in talks to have her in it, but then it fell through, I think, and she's not going to be in it anymore.

    Man, did I screw up and read two articles then mix them up? I could've swore that I've seen Sandra Bullock's name tied to this movie. F*ck me if I'm wrong... I'd say I need to lay off the drugs, but I'm military so I don't have any excuse there either. Ahh, maybe I missed the "other word of the day", charismatic! My bad, Sandra.
