O dear...
I loved the book.
BUT I HATE THESE ACTORS. Seriously bad choice, sorry...i won´t watch. (My own mental version is much, much better casted.)

I am a big Twilight enthusiast and thought that if Stephine Meyer could do such a great job on the Saga, books and movies..Then I would give the host a chance and sadly to say Stephine Meyer needs to stick to Twilight. I was not impressed at all with the Host

What a crying shame. I haven't watched the trailer nor do I intend to. Stephenie Meyer is all I had to see. She's moved on from defiling the vampire genre to defiling the alien genre. Where will it end? I'm just going to safely pass on this one.

@ghostman -- Really? What was it?
@corey -- It's very odd, man. I mean, the only thing that comes to mind that we both agree on, would be that we both think "Fight Club" is an outstanding movie, and that it's (one of) our favorite movie(s) of all-time.
That's pretty sad, lol.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx I find it funny that we argue and disagree on here so much yet we both still have high respect for one another. :P Well....to the next article where we are likely to disagree man! haha

WOW, what the sparkling f*ck was that?
@corey said they are making this look like an alien invasion flick, and to be honest, i'm currently reading the source material and that trailer was absolutely horrendous...
I'll wait for a real trailer, but for a first impression that was awful

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Not any new alien traits in the story that hasn't been defined in the genre before so Meyer doesn't screw any mythology up there. And I'll remain awesome? Sounds a little sarcastic but I'll take the compliment :p

@ghostman -- "From the woman who brought you Twilight, home of the sparkling vampires, brings you "The Host" -- another terrible adaption that will show you some new "alien" traits, and make sparkling vampires a thing of the past."
@corey -- I'll be marking off the latter two off my to do list in the future, and I guarantee you that my perspective will not only remain unchanged, but it will make my outlook of the movie - along with Stephenie Meyer's body of work itself - all the more valid.
And you will remain awesome, and we will continue to have our differences on such matters.
