Stephen Hopkins has signed on to direct ABC's drama presentation The Unusuals.

The Unusuals, from Sony Pictures TV, is a dramedy set at a New York police precinct. Noah Hawley penned the script and is executive producing with Peter Tolan.

Hopkins directed the pilot and several episodes of Fox's 24 as well as the pilot of Showtime's Californication. He won an Emmy in 2005 for directing HBO's The Life and Death of Peter Sellers.
