Stephen Dorff confirms his involvement with the Blade Prequel
Stephen Dorff allegedly said:
"Yeah, well, that was something we were talking about. Me and Steve Norrington had a cool treatment for that, and when vampires got all this trending again, we thought we should do the adult version, more of like a Scarface Deacon Frost movie. And it sounded cool, this treatment, but then there was so many legal things. Like New Line owned Blade and Marvel's got... all this hype into "The Avengers" and this group movie which sounds like such a mistake. And Blade was such a '90s thing. I didn't want to do a Blade movie, I just really wanted to take Deacon and do then do a whole other thing which was much more today. So the idea me and Steve had, we might just end up fictionalizing it and just making a new character which might even be better for us. And he's someone I really like and would love to work with again. So hopefully whenever we get a chance we'll get into that."
No further details are known, and no production date has been set.
Blade was released August 19th, 1998 and stars Wesley Snipes, Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson, N'Bushe Wright, Donal Logue, Udo Kier, Arly Jover, Traci Lords. The film is directed by Stephen Norrington.

SO 90S?? HE SAYIGN THAT GUC HE WANT TO BE THE AIN CHARACTER FOR THIS MOVIE... NAW THERES NO POINT FOR A FROST MOVIE.. I STILL THINK THEY SHOULD DO ANOTHER PART OF THE BLADETRILOGY,,, BETTER CONCLUSION. CUZ BLADE TRINITY WAS HORRIBLE. DIDNT FEEL LIKE A EPIC FIGHT FOR A CONCLUSION OF A TRILOGY,, THEY SHOULD JSUT TRY AGAIN. BUT THAT SHOULD BE IN 3 TO 4 YEARS WHEN SNIPES COMES OUT OF JAIL

I couldn't care less about Dorff. He hasn't done much worth any of my time. As for his opinion on the Avengers, it's probably a case of sour grapes.

I could see T.A. being a big mistake in the proper screentime department. Even with the solo movies having good screentime for each character is going to be tricky but CAN be done.
As for Dorff, I like him. I wish he would get better roles.

Too much of a bother to fight for the rights, please the fan-boys, and try pulling on something off a franchise on which people are only interested in seeing the titular character whooping vampire a$$...they could go along with the project and who knows;it might even work, but not before they let go of the Blade franchise and all it's characters and let this movie be its own animal. If you guys wanna do that then Forget Blade, forget the Marvel Universe, just do your own thing and let Daywalker take care of his own franchise...And @ Cartman: been sharing the same wish since d first Twilight man! :)

ill give that the first Blade is the best one, the tone and everything fit, even the music { which i still have the soundtrack }, the opening club scene was great...but to give someone as insignificant as Dacon Frost his own prequel is just a waste, now that Marvel studios has the rights back, lets wait and see what they can do with Blade now, as well as The Punsher....
...Sorry to break it to u Mr. Dorff, but no one cares to see Frost again
