Stephen Chow Will Not Be Directing The Green Hornet
The director/actor will still play Kato in the film and is said to have pulled out as a director over "creative differences." Currently a new director is being sought as the script goes through a final rewrite.
The Green Hornet was written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, with Rogen playing the title character.
The Green Hornet was released January 14th, 2011 and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, Christoph Waltz, David Harbour, Edward James Olmos, Jamie Harris. The film is directed by Michel Gondry.

I think so too Diaigma. Damn studios and their big talk were getting my hopes up.

At the rate directors are bailing out of these "smaller" comic book adaptions, I'd say the "not so popular" comic characters will never make it.

I also think Rogen is really miscast for this , and pretty sadden that it wont be directed by Chow , well at least he will still play Kato

Rogen wanted this film to be serious. Stephen Chow was the one pushing ridiculousness. Why would you hope it sucks if you want it to be taken seriously, dickhe*d?
