Starz Gets Ready to Party Down
The network handed out a 10-episode season for the series, which was created by Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas. The series follows the lives of six Hollywood posers who all get catering jobs to pay the rent, with each episode taking place at a catered event.
Thomas co-created the show with Paul Rudd and Veronica Mars writers Jon Enbom, who will take over showrunning duties, and Dan Etheridge. The pilot was shot on spec at Thomas' house.
The series is slated to premiere in early 2009.
