Start of The Chronicles of Narnia 3 Production Delayed for a Year
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the companies blamed the delay on "the challenging schedules for our young actors." Michael Apted is directing the film.
The second film in the franchise, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, is scheduled to open May 16, 2008. The movie was originally set for release in December, but the companies postponed its release date by five months after Sony decided to release The Water Horse, in which Walden is also involved, in that month.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader was released December 10th, 2010 and stars Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, Will Poulter, Bill Nighy, Gary Sweet, Arthur Angel, Tony Nixon. The film is directed by Michael Apted.

this could be a good thing for disney if Narnia 2 lights it up on the big screen, more time for DVD release purchasing before the 3rd hits the screen..
