I do not LIKE the "special edition" versions of 'Star Wars' (1977), 'Empire Strikes Back' (1980), and 'Return of the Jedi' (1983). Yes, they're the "same" as the original theatrical cuts for the most part -- but they're also coated with new digital junk and pointless little distractions!!!

Original Blu-ray Trilogy is what I may purchase, Even if Han Solo did shoot first, but that's likely as much perversion as I can deal with so the prequels wont get a look in {:)

I've got the VHS and DVD versions. Now it's HD, then it'll be 3D
I may or may not get HD or 3D, but who knows it might be slightly better.
All I really want is another trilogy

@Furankisan George Lucas will NEVER release the the originals again. We were lucky to get them on DVD a few years back, but Lucas has stated time and time again that he will not release the originals again, no matter how much the fans whine about it.

PS let's not forget another double dip when the ORIGINAL Trilogy goes to BR and then final cash cow the whole trilogy on BR 3D like anyone going to give a crap by then. Sony doesnt get it at CES about 3D shoving it down our throats. WE DON"T CARE!....I'm just saying.lol

Can't wait to see Luke wearing his Gilligan's Island's hat in BR. But for that price it should come with a t-shirt saying: LUCAS GOT ME AGAIN> LOUSY HUMAN BASTARD!

I wouldn't mind if they fixed the lightsabers in the Original Trilogy, but there's going to be a lot of butt hurt fanboys whining about it.

lol @The Narrator, nah not really. So if blu-ray can hold alot of data on its disc. why cant they just put the org film on that and the special edition on that at the same time? kinda like beauty & the beast special edition, it has the old movie and a special edition all on 1 dvd, u can pick which version u wanna watch. i know sumthing like this can b done w bluray, and add even more to the disc if needed. that would b an all time seller to all fans even would beat the avatar sell out.

@K-Man you misunderstand me: I meant to say that the Jabba scene was the only changed scene that turned me off. The others don't bother me a bit and, in a way, help the movie. @JasonKat, go away.
