Star Wars: The Clone Wars to Be Offered on ITunes

Good news, Star Wars: The Clone Wars fans. Starting this Saturday, the series will be available on iTunes for downloading. According to Variety, each episode will be available the day after its first airing, and then a week later, that same episode will stream on both the Cartoon Network and the official Star Wars website.

Also premiering on iTunes, Lucasfilm will debut a free thirty minutes behind the scenes featurette on the making of the program. There will also be a podcast for the series and a weekly web-comic backing up the Star Wars: The Clone Wars stories, both of which will be available on the starwars.com website.

The first episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is set to air this Friday, October 3rd, 2008, on the Cartoon Network.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars was released August 15th, 2008 and stars Matt Lanter, Ashley Eckstein, James Arnold Taylor, Dee Bradley Baker, Tom Kane, Nika Futterman, Ian Abercrombie, Corey Burton. The film is directed by Dave Filoni.
