@k-man: I'm going to stop arguing/discussing the movies you have your opinion and I have mine about the films, and I don't want to keep going on about it.

@k-man: Delete my account for what telling the truth. Listen I grew up in the early 80's watching the Star Wars movies and falling in love with the Baba Fett character. I watched them all at least once a month and bought the toys, which I wish I still had, but I was a kid and couldn't tell any real difference between a great, good, average, bad, and terrible movie. Once you grow up and leave your fantasy and dream world you can see the movies for what they are. Maybe it's good to still be living in your fantasy world like you are. Sometimes I wish I could go back to my childhood to.

Ewan McGregor performances in episode 2-3 were just sublime i think it was actually the highlight of the series!

@k-man First of all, I was being sarcastic for the most part. Second, I know the original trilogy came out before the prequel trilogy. Hell, I even saw the original trilogy special editions in theaters. I can watch them either way. Yes, I do understand the original trilogy was also made with no prequels in mind.
Hell, I wasn't even being sarcastic that the original trilogy wouldn't make sense without the prequels, I meant the fact that each episode is defined by it's god damn number! That's the order that is intended for the films to be watched in, so why wouldn't they show The Phantom Menace first?
As for your comments about EVERYBODY thinking The Phantom Menace is "Horse sh*t": The prequels were well received by the majority of critics and movie goers alike. Just because people who hated the film are more vocal doesn't mean the prequels (or just TPM) is "horse sh*t". Fans of the Star Wars saga will see the films again, and so will the younglings who've never seen the films of the silver screen.
@huntsman Return of the Jedi is better than an average movie. Yes, it has Ewoks (which I don't really hate), but it is a good, if not great movie.

The absolute best film, in the ENTIRE saga that is Star Wars, is, without a doubt, Episode IV: A New Hope. None of the other films EVEN come CLOSE to being as good!
Except for Episode V: Empire Strikes Back... That one was better. : )

@k-man: Are you actually calling Return of the Jedi a better then average movie. Stop living in your childhood. I grew up and so do you. Episodes IV and VI were just good and average with a annoying lead character in Luke Skywalker(Mark Hamile.) What saved the movies were the special effects, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Baba Fett. Episodes I-III were all good to great with good stories, great characters (outside of Jar Jar Binks) and excellent effects.
As I said before you and many other people continue to live in their childhood fantasy worlds refusing to open their eyes about the real quality of the old movies or episodes IV-VI.

@avian005 - "Doesn't make sense"???? Good lord, why are you on this site? Are you and that other idiot (@Jacob-Parody ) NOT aware that Episode IV: A New Hope, Ep. V: The Empire Strikes Back and Ep. VI: Return of the Jedi were all written (and originally released) in a way for it to make perfect sense WITHOUT Episodes I-III??? I mean, hell, that was only the case for 16 years and I didn't hear anyone complaining about it "not making sense".
If anything, the only thing the prequels were good for was ruining the shock factor of who Darth Vader actually was.
So, yeah, the best one's, in this case the original trilogy, SHOULD be released first.....just like they were released first back in 77, 80 and 83!!
I think it's possible that you border somewhere in-between stupid and flat out retarded.

@Jacob-Parody - Yeah genius, just like releasing Episode IV: A New Hope, first, back in 1977 was so friggin mind boggling to the audience and devastating to the box office! Do you even know what series you are talking about? Way to contradict your own statement you idiot!!
Plus, I love how you don't even have the wit to take into account that the rest of the series's conversions depends on the first one's success in theaters. Therefore, its not exactly rocket science to figure out that putting out the single most hated film in the series (if not the single most hated film of the past 2 decades) first, isn't a good idea.
Why? Because aside from the mental midgets, like you, who somehow think this steaming pile of horse-sh*t is going to magically NOT suck just because it's in 3D, everyone else knows what a terrible film it is......therefore it's not going to make a lot of money. Which means that the films that ARE good, and WERE released first, like Empire Strikes Back, aren't likely to get a release in 3D.
If you had half a damn brain in your head you would have figured that out.
Anymore brain busters, Jacob???
Now shut the hell up and think about what you are going to say, before actually saying it.

@k-man Yeah putting out the first movie in the saga was a terrible idea. Hell, he really should have put out the 3rd one first, and then the 5th, then 2nd, then 6th, then 1st, then the 4th. That would have been a MUCH better marketing strategy. Why doesn't every director do that? I would have loved to see the 6th Harry Potter movie before i saw all the other ones. The story would have made so much more sense! Rant concluded.

@k-man Yes, f*ck you George Lucas for releasing the Star Wars saga on the big screen again, because we all know not a single fan would love to see all six films in theaters.
And f*ck Disney too! Re-releashing their movies in theaters again too! Hell, even f*ck James Cameron!
Honestly, it's pathetic how much people say "F*ck you *insert name here*" for re-releasing films in theaters that they know fans would love to see again.

Ah yes here comes the bashing of the new Star Wars films that were actually better than all of the old ones except Episode V: The Empires Strikes Back.
People stop living in your childhood and face reality for what the kind of movies the old ones were average to good at best with the exception of Empires Strikes Back, which was excellent.

Keep milking that Star Wars teet, George.
Definitely will NOT be giving Lucas another dime, especially for this load of sh*t.....
The only scene that would be worth watching in 3D would be the lightsaber battle and the pod-race sequence. Waaaayyy to short of an amount of time to suffer through this again. Besides, seeing Jar Jar Binks in 3D is probably enough to send me over the edge and kill myself.
I will probably end up sneaking into *portions* of this after I watch a GOOD film...... but I absolutely refuse to pay for it again.
F*ck you, George Lucas!! Way to release the worst film in the series first! Nice marketing strategy, you f*cking dolt!!!
