Why u cann't just make something new in SW universe. Just make something in the old republic, with new characters and storylines, or whatever.

As hyped as I man for TPM, again, WTF is wrong with his face in this poster?! Even the AOTC Yoda looks better than this!
Maybe they're trying to recapture the magic of the horrible Yoda puppet from TPM.
...OH GOD! I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!

Yoda's face says it all. Even he doesn't want to be on the poster.

I got the SW Blu-Ray set, and the CG Yoda looks MUCH better than the awful puppet from Episode I, but, this poster is terrible. He looks totally creepy here, mostly because of the eyes I think.
Why can't Fox spend some actual money on promotional posters? Seriously, X-Men First Class, the awful half-face Avatar posters, now this? It's like they figure big movies are gonna sell themselves so why spend money on good graphic design?

Did you know it costs a tun of money just to update and add things to these films. Altogether he could have just made a new film.

"Can't wait to see my favorite character "Jar-Jar Binks" in 3D". That is possibly the most disturbing sentence ever written. Ever.

I'm so glad they converted Yoda to cgi. He looked so crappy as a puppet, there was no emotion! Can't wait to see my favorite character "Jar-Jar Binks" in 3D. They should've had him in the prequel trilogy!

@diaigma Haha! I was thinking the same thing! He looks ashamed, almost as if he's apologizing to us for being a part of this.

Love Star Wars, but this is so not necessary! Scrap the 3D bullsh*t and make a 7th movie with the original cast!

Now we have to put up with a 3D version of Jar, Jar

Why have a picture of Yoda? Since the film is about a young kid who grows up to be Darth Vader. Have a picture of the kid.
Now on a separate subject - why can't they do a film trilogy of a much younger version of Yoda? Set 2 hundred years before this silly little trilogy of which I enjoyed.

Can't wait!
You are right, it does not look perfect. But it DOES look MUCH better than that football field blowing up in The Dark Knight Rises!!!!!
Don't get me wrong. I am SO looking forward to TDKR, but if we are going to criticize for quality, let's be equal opportunity critics.

@diaigma Nah... nah it, uh... it looks like there's a little grin there. And, uh... no, no you're right. This is bad. I'm mad, Yoda's mad, this just isn't working.

It still doesn't look like Yoda approves. Are the poster makers trying to tell us something? :P
