Alice Eve joins the cast of Star Trek 2
No details were given regarding who Alice Eve may play, although it is said to be a brand new character in the Star Trek universe. We reported earlier this month that Benicio Del Toro was offered the villain role in this sci-fi sequel. It seems the actor has accepted the offer, although the deal is still pending.
J.J. Abrams is directing Star Trek 2 from a screenplay by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and Damon Lindelof. Production is scheduled to start January 15.
Star Trek Into Darkness was released May 17th, 2013 and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anton Yelchin. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.

I cant wait to see this!! Great cast...AGAIN (of course) and Del Toro as a villian? I hope they dont hide him behind too much makeup. A rogue Starfleet commander would be cool. I'm having flashes of Col. Kurtz at the end of the river.

This is funny. Eve lost to Atwell for the role in Captain America, but beat her in this instance. I wonder if they're getting sick of going up against each other.
