Spy Kids: All the Time in the World Trailer

Check out the trailer for director Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids: All the Time in the World which can be watched below!

On the surface, Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) has it all...married to a famous spy hunting television reporter, a new baby and intelligent twin step kids. But in reality, trying to mother Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook), who clearly don't want her around, is her toughest challenge yet. Also, her husband, Wilbur (Joel McHale), wouldn't know a spy if he lived with one which is exactly the case - Marissa's a retired secret agent.

Marissa's world is turned upside down when the maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) threatens to take over the planet and she's called back into action by the head of OSS, home of the greatest spies and where the now-defunct Spy Kids division was created. With Armageddon quickly approaching, Rebecca and Cecil are thrust into action when they learn their boring stepmom was once a top agent and now the world's most competitive ten year olds are forced to put their bickering aside and rely on their wits. With a little help from a couple of very familiar Spy Kids, Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara), and some mind-blowing gadgets, they just may be able to save the world and possibly bring their family together while they're at it.

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World was released August 19th, 2011 and stars Jessica Alba, Joel McHale, Rowan Blanchard, Mason Cook, Jeremy Piven, Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara, Danny Trejo. The film is directed by Robert Rodriguez.

No. 1 Thing I dis-like: Joel McHale signed on to do it. Love him on the Soup and Community though...

In my opinion, Spy Kids went down hill from the beginning. I mean, I really like the 1st one...but then they added bad claymation...and then Sylvester Stallone...

Rob Rodriguez is flipped on his movies: His kids films are as bad as his action films are freaking awesome.

This looks like fun, my kids love these movies.. Remember,.. its a kiddie movie, and not a batman installment!!

But i hope Rodriguez makes more movies like planet terror!! that was awesome!!

@jayaottley The fourth dimension scientifically speaking I believe is time. Cinematically speaking, I believe that smell and feel (like the seats move, mist in the theater, etc.) are the extra components. But I've only seen that in amusement park attractions and the such. I believe this is just a pun (that I'm not understanding...), not some legit gimmick. But who really cares :P

So Spy Kids gets a fourth movie, and yet Nolan still wants to end his Batman saga after the third film? Shouldn't that be the other way around?

@insertusernamehere, that I more than understand, friend. It's the thinking of the studios that irks the f*ck out of me. I'm aware that Hollywood follows the get rich quick formula, but their thinking is so flawed it's beyond bothersome. If each studio were to cap the amount of movies they release a year by twelve or so features, and were to then take their time setting up said film to ensure their success both financially and critically they'd be more than in the green.

They'd have elegant, lasting franchises, completely welcomed by the public, which in term not only pays off on the films theatrical release as well as all the time and effort that went into making them, but also making the studio even more money than predicted thanks to the demand for a few of the films to be followed, setting up new franchises. Then, they could go ahead and open up the direct-to-tv idea that some studios are in favor of, and release all the gimmicky, recycled crap that plague the theaters every week, in order to keep all of the industries workers (B-listers, c-listers, etc) with their jobs, as well as give us the ever-necessary "variety". This way, Hollywood's social circles would continue to function, people in the business would honestly strive to do better quality films in order to make the chopping block, the studios would be making tons of money anyway, and we the viewer would be completely satisfied with the cost effective entertainment going around. Everyone wins, pretty much.

I'm well aware that the plan has holes in it, but I'm just spewing out dumb-f*ck ideas that make me feel better, and in a way, less pissed off at the completely ridiculous actions from the Hollywood corporate executives of late. Then again, their system has been working for several decades, so what the f*ck do I know.

Actually 4D is a real term, this experience utilises the next dimension of 3D but adding a 4th dimension, which is usually the sense of smell....So say someone was cooking an all day breakfast, the cinema would start to smell like someone was coking an all day breakfast...
Well that's the official film technical term for it... Avatar did it in a few rare screening.

Although i do get the pun of the whole 4D pun to the attachement of this film, but that just make me want to see it even less, even though i get in cinema's for free

@J.P. Ya, but, just so you know, the film isn't called Spy Kids 4D, it's just Spy Kids 4, plus they add the 3D into every 3D movie that comes out, so it's not just Spy Kids.

@moviegeek The saying the film will be in 4D is a play on words as this is the 4th film in the series. They did the same thing with Spy Kids 3 by calling it Spy Kids 3D: Game Over

@bawnian-dexeus Deadpool has already gotten a director sadly. Rodriguez missed his chance. BIG TIME. a VFX artist named Tim Miller is now at the helm. It will be his directorial debut. I expect good things. He did VFX work on X-Men, X2, Daredevil, and Scott Pilgrim VS The World. I'm cautiously enthusiastic that he'll have a Neill Blomkamp complex seeing as Neill Blomkamp transitioned from directing into directing with District 9 and that was Phenomonal.

man. people are hating on this so much. but i have to say. i agree with most people on here. this was totally unnecessary. i mean when the first came out alot of kids thought, "cool! spy kids and they kick butt!" but now the generations have changed. the kids who enjoyed THOSE movies have grown up. much like juni and carmen( the characters in the original). i mean i didn't even recognize daryl sabara in machete. rodriguez went on to try to see if the kids now-a-days are the same as before. but they aren't this is gonna flop. he should've made deadpool. or sin city. or made this one focused on the original kids, like the third one, saying how they grew up, but this one go one a real mission. but eh, whatever, i might watch this to see how it turns out.

spy kids was so much more, this, this just looks awful, yes a child's film but still its meant to be a SPY KIDs movie,! But why was this made? Seriously Robert we do need to have something a tad better, lets say this Dead-Pool film, or something little collaborated with hmm Frank Miller called Sin City! bUT STILL GUNNA BE ACE IN YOUR FACE 3D SH*T!

saw this trailer on KUNG FU PANDA 2 and it looked ridiculously stupid. granted it's a kids movie but still, i think it's a completely unnecessary sequel. not even jessica albas cuteness is gonna save this one. but hey, the kids may like it.....who knows...

  30. Ghostman

@frankenfate I don't think they're hating the movie, but the fact that Rodriguez directed a sequel we didn't want; instead of filming other movies like Deadpool, Sin City 2, and a possible Predators sequel. That's all.
