SPOILERS: Is Brainiac Going to Be Coming Back to Smallville?

The new season of Smallville has started with a bang, and the first episode teased us with several mysteries that we’re looking forward to see explored throughout the season. Mike Ausiello has discovered a tidbit about whatever happened to Braniac, and whether or not we might see the evil robot from Krypton again.

Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

Ausiello writes:

Details are emerging on the blockbuster November sweeps two-parter (episodes 10 and 11) and they're so tantalizing that even I'm tempted to watch. Following Chloe's wedding to Jimmy, Brainiac slowly starts taking over Chloe's body. By episode 11, he has taken complete possession of her. And that, my friends, is just the tip of the iceberg.

So, we may just see more of Braniac soon, but possibly not in the shape we’re familiar with. And there is theoretically more shocking events than that in those two episodes?

Smallville airs Thursday nights on the CW. The drama about the early days of Clark Kent stars Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Allison Mack, Aaron Ashmore, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman and Sam Witwer.
