Toby Wilkins' upcoming horror-thriller entitled Splinter has been picked up for distribution by Magnet Pictures. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is nearly completed.

The plot revolves around a couple being held hostage by an escaped convict. They are all being threatened by a parasitic monster. This will be Wilkins' directorial debut.

The film does not have a set release date at this time.
