Spike TV has given the greenlit to Players, a half-hour comedy from Upright Citizens Brigade regular Matt Walsh.

According to Variety, Walsh created the show, will exec produce, and will also star as a fun-loving dude who owns a sports bar with his uptight brother (played by Ian Roberts).

The guy-oriented MTV Networks cabler has ordered 10 episodes of the series, which goes into production in Los Angeles this month and is set for a summer premiere.
