Spike Lee to direct Nagasaki Deadline
The story centers on a downtrodden FBI agent who races against the clock to foil two terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. The agent must delve through historical events that appear to be linked to the plot against America. Martin Campbell was set to direct the film before dropping out to direct Green Lantern.
Lee would be directing from a script by William Broyles Jr., who rewrote the original script by David Griffiths and Peter Griffiths. James Cameron, Jon Landau and Rae Sanchini are producing the film under their Lightstorm Entertainment banner along with Alcon's Andrew A. Kosove and Broderick Johnson. Kira Davis is also producing through 8:38 Productions.
No production schedule was released for the film.
Nagasaki Deadline comes to theaters in 2012. The film is directed by Spike Lee.
