Sony Nabs Angelology

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Sony recently won a bidding war for Angelology. The is the first novel from writer Danielle Trussoni.

The studio purchased the movie rights for Will Smith's Overbrook and Marc Forster's Apparatus production companies.

Angelology centers around a nun in New York who accidentally "reignites an ancient war between Angelologists, a group who studies angels, and a race of monster-like descendants of angels and humans called the Nephilim."

    Agreed. This is def smiths type of movie. Sounds interesting enough and im a huge will smith fan. Movies with angels vs demon-like creatures always has great potential

    Hmmm. On one hand I think this sounds kind of interesting, on the other had I think that it could turn out to be a really bad film. Let's hope the money is spent to make it a good movie.
