From the producers of the history-making TV miniseries, The Bible, Son of God brings the story of Jesus to the big-screen, beginning with his humble birth, through his teachings, crucifixion, and ultimate resurrection. Starring Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado as Jesus, this film will leave you breathless.

Son of God was released February 28th, 2014 and stars Sebastian Knapp, Paul Knops, Darcie, David Rintoul, Gary Oliver, William Houston, Stewart Scudamore, Nonso Anozie. The film is directed by Christopher Spencer.

    If anyone has followed the series on the History Channel, The Bible, you've already seen this. Albeit with commercials, but it was free as a made for television mini-series event. You could get The Bible on DVD and see this. It's exactly the same and as far as I can tell nothing has been added. This is a cheap way to cash in on it.

    would have been better if it was a follow up to "passion of the christ," well at least not a followup but his early days as a kid, teen and alot of told and untold stories of him. what he saw, what he went thru, or what we think he had to deal with. all up until his final hours,
    But the film here would end good in peace, passion of the christ would then be the 2nd half of the story. if that makes sense.
