Movie PictureSnoop Dogg is helping to bring in the new year!

In a story from Fangoria, Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror will be coming to DVD March 6 from Xenon Pictures and Vivendi Visual Entertainment. No word yet on what that disc will contain.

In other DVD related news Mario Bava's 1966 masterwork Kill, Baby, Kill will be coming to DVD March 27 from Dark Sky Films.

The tale is set in a modern-day Carpathian village rocked by a series of bizarre murders, in which the female victims are found with gold coins imbedded in their hearts. The coins are revealed to be talismans placed on the victims by the local sorceress (Fabienne Dali), meant to ward off the supernatural powers of the aged Baroness Graps (Giana Vivaldi). The baroness has been acting as an earthly liaison for the vengeful ghost of her murdered daughter, who wants to claim the villagers' souls -- with Erica Blanc next on the list. In order to free the village from the evil curse, Dali must find the sequestered baroness and destroy her.

This DVD will feature a commentary track by Bava biographer Tim Lucas, a "Kill, Bava, Kill" featurette on the director, and a still gallery. The film will also be presented in it's uncut 84 minute format in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen.

Lastly, Sublime the next offering from Warner Home Video's Raw Feed shingle will come to DVD March 20. First Look Home Entertainment will be bringing out The Breed on May 22.

Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror was released November 19th, 2006 and stars Snoop Dogg, Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Pooch Hall, Anson Mount, Daniella Alonso, Lin Shaye, Brande Roderick. The film is directed by Stacy Title.
