Essence Atkins joins the spoof comedy Smart Ass
The project is described as a spoof of found footage movies such as Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside. No story details were given, and it isn't known what character Essence Atkins will play.
Marlon Wayans is co-directing Smart Ass along with Michael Tiddes, who served as associate producer on Marlon Wayans last spoof comedy, Dance Flick. Essence Atkins, who currently stars on the TBS comedy series Are We There Yet?, also starred in Dance Flick.
Rick Alvarez and Lisa Blum are producing Smart Ass, which has already started production in Los Angeles.

This could be really funny or just completely terrible. I like Wayans but his last couple movies have been pretty bad.
