Tom produced Hell Cats - that TV series about cheerleaders and has his own Production company. finding projects and producing them takes time.
As of acting - out side of Smallville, I found he was in bad films. I hope this film brings him back into the light.

@Roberto-Mata Sadly, the audience doesn't appeal to him as much as Captain America, Thor and Stark

@Roberto-Mata@bawnian-dexeus As the Daredevil expert here, I can tell you that he does a lot, but he is not a fit for The Avengers. As for Welling, he played Clark Kent for ten years. Since they chose not to give him the role in Man of Steel, he should leave the comic book roles alone.

@bawnian-dexeus They need a strong story, were we could see the Hulk more than 3 times with Bruce Banner not just running from the goverment and doing something important.

@Roberto-Mata Because of the numbers. Even with a partial reboot to the character, Hulk hasn't done well on his own, so he'll be used as an ensemble rather than solo.

@bawnian-dexeus The problem with Daredevil is that he doesn't do much, I wonder if Joe Carnahan is still attached to direct. Also I'm wondering, why are they leaving the Hulk, without his own movie, they should do a second part, or he will just be in The Avengers sequels.

@Roberto-Mata Meh, I don't consider him that useful for phase three. He'd have a better shot in his own new cinematic series

@bawnian-dexeus He fits the role, but he fits Daredevil too, and who knows now that the rights were revert back to Marvel, we could see the character in phase 3.
