Smallville: Prophecy Superman Suit Revealed Photos!

Apparently, you won't have to wait until the climactic end of Smallville: Finale for a glimpse of Clark Kent (Tom Welling) in his Superman suit. The iconic red and blue costume will be featured in the second-to-last episode titled Smallville: Prophecy, and we have a new photo galllery offering a glimpse of what this particular pair of tights will look like. In Smallville: Prophecy, Clark (Tom Welling) takes Lois (Erica Durance) to the Fortress to get Jor-El's (voiced by Terence Stamp) blessing for their marriage. Jor-El bestows a unique wedding gift on the couple - he gives Lois Clark's super powers so she can see what it's like to be him for a day. Unfortunately, the Toyman (guest star Chris Gauthier) has returned to Metropolis, so Lois must go up against the notorious villain instead of Clark. Meanwhile, Oliver (Justin Hartley) searches for the Bow of Orion, which he believes will remove the Omega symbol from his skull, and runs into Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort), who is also on a mission to stop Darkseid.

Smallville episode 10.21, "Finale" stars Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack, Annette O'Toole, John Schneider, John Glover, Justin Hartley and is directed by Greg Beeman, Kevin Fair.

    @jptheredskull "PLUS, the shows primary fanbase is comprised of males."

    Um, no it's not. I know plenty of women who like the show, thank you very much. Not to mention all the girlfriends and wives of men who watch the show too and NOT just because they're with those men, but because they actually enjoy watching it. Smallville also has a lot of romantic comedy elements thrown in for good measure to appease the female audience.

    Please stop making blanket statements and putting an emphasis on them.

    @lane1 I didn't mean it to sound sexist but when referring to a women in that way in a generalized sense then no, I wouldn't expect them to know. PLUS, the shows primary fanbase is comprised of males.

    @redskull that's not true cause Zod took over Lex body in vessel and Lex had all of his abilities. So if Darkseid took over Lionel he would possessed with his powers. Either way earth 2 Clark isn't coming back.

    Clark Luthor is on earth 2 and is with Jor-el in that alternate fortress. Lionel encountered Darkseid in the end of an episode a few weeks back. Clark won't be fighting himself again. It will either be darkseid himself or a possessed Lionel

    @jptheredskull thanks for the info! maybe they're using the Returns suit as a 'cover-up' (just my thought, I could be wrong) so they wouldn't reveal the 'actual' suit and ruin the fun. :)

    @m2 @timmy Chloe won't be coming back until the finale. If you can find the episode description for the finale episode it reveals the the ENTIRE first season cast, with the exception of Kristin Kruek and the guy who played her boyfriend Whitney, will be back.

    @corey @playhouse @ghostman @m2 @cupid P.S. That is the Routh Superman Suit with the exception of the cape, which was swapped for a shpw exclusive version. Should the suot be worn in the finale (hehe), it will be a version made specifically for Welling.

    @corey @playhouse @ghostman @m2 @cupid Just so you guys know, In this episode (SPOILER ALERT!!) Clark uses a crystal and frees the Superman suit from its ice chamber, leaving him free to use it throughout the ENTIRE 2 HOUR SERIES FINALE!!!!

    @ghostman It actually is one of the suits from Superman Returns. WB let them use it as a prop since it was easier and cheaper for everyone involved. Since it was designed specifically for Brandon Routh's body, Welling won't be able to wear this specific one. It remains to be seen if they will have an actual suit for Welling in the finale. (Though I can't see how they couldn't, even for just a few seconds.)
