Kiefer Sutherland, Gérard Depardieu, Til Schweiger, Thomas Jane, Johnny Hallyday, Jon Lovitz and Eric Cantona, will star in Sleight of Hand, it was announced today by Producer Richard Rionda Del Castro; whose Hannibal Classics will begin selling the film this week at Cannes. Also producing will be Gilles Thompson from Acteurs, Auteurs, Associes (AAA). Brad Mirman will direct the star-studded action comedy. Patricia Eberle will serve as executive producer. The film will shoot the end of July through mid-September.

"There is no better place to announce a French film with International stars than the Cannes Film Festival," says Rionda Del Castro; also a principal in Marco Polo Production. "It is going to be a wonderful film entirely shot in Paris, the most beautiful city in the world and I will be working for the second time with Gérard, Johnny, PEo2kssxMicPrt||Thomas} and Jon. We are still casting so there are a few more surprises in store."

In Sleight of Hand, also starring French actors Jean-Luc Couchard, Nora Arnezeder and Patrice Cols, the international cast plays a crew of small time crooks in Paris, who inadvertently end up possessing a rare gold coin belonging to a notorious French gangster. The leader of the crew calls his uncle (Depardieu), a retired criminal, to help them raise the money to repay the gangster. The series of mix-ups and double crosses culminate as the gangs are pit face to face, chasing through Paris.

"I am honored to be a part of this film, and to be able to work with such an amazing cast, who not only exude talent but bring passion, humor and excitement on and off the screen, " adds Mirman. A writer, director and producer, Mirman's past films include Resurrection, Crime Spree and Body of Evidence and recently The Confessor internet series with Kiefer Sutherland.

Sleight of Hand comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Kiefer Sutherland, Gérard Depardieu, Til Schweiger, Thomas Jane, Johnny Hallyday, Jon Lovitz, Eric Cantona, Jean-Luc Couchard. The film is directed by Brad Mirman.
