Sigourney Weaver and Kate Bosworth are in talks to star in the indie drama, The Girl in the Park for Furst Films.

David Auburn is writing the script and making his feature directorial debut; Variety notes the film is about a woman still traumatized by the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter 15 years ago. When she meets a troubled young woman, her pain resurfaces along with the hope that the woman may be her missing child.

Shooting for The Girl in the Park begins in November in New York.
